Navigate the application process to become a non-degree student at NTU
To apply for the University-level Exchange Student Program or the Visiting Student Program, please follow the guidelines below. It is important to note that these programs use separate application systems, and applications cannot be transferred between them. Please ensure you are using the correct portal before starting your submission.
If you are applying for the University-level Exchange Student Program, you will receive a specific application link via email once your home university has officially nominated you. For those applying to the Visiting Student Program, no nomination is required; you may access the application system directly to begin your process.
Applications are open twice a year following the schedule below:
Home universities must submit all nominations during the designated nomination period. The following procedure is intended only for exchange coordinators who are nominating students under a university-level exchange agreement.
Provide the nominated students’ information:
The student list can be submitted only once. Please submit the nomination(s) only after you have added and completed all nominations. Use the Save function instead of the Submit button if the list or information is incomplete.
After you submit the nomination, the nominated students will receive a personalized application link in their email. The nominated students need to set up their own password to proceed with the application.
Step 2 Complete the application and upload all required documents. You cannot modify the application after submission.

Step 3 Visiting students only: Complete payment of application fee (NTD15,000). If successfully admitted, you will need to pay the program fee (NTD 40,000) and tuition fee at a later stage.
Step 4 Track your application status in the application system
Due to the limited availabiliy of housing, we cannot guarantee your placement in on-campus housing. If you’d like to apply for on-campus housing, indicate your preferences in the application system. Late applications and changes to the application or preference order will not be accepted.
On-campus housing is only available for the student. Family members or friends of a student cannot live in on-campus accommodation. You cannot choose your roommate. Male and female rooms are separated in all on-campus housing.

**Accommodation Fee waiver: If you are an exchange student from the following universities, your accommodation fees are waived if you apply for Guo Qing Dorm (IYC) Twin Share. If you are placed at other housing, there is no accommodation fee waiver and you are responsible for paying the full accommodation fee.
