If you need personalized guidance and support, you may visit the Center for Teaching and Learning Development. Explore tailored faculty development programs, remedial teaching support, and peer tutoring services.
If you face difficulties in academic planning, career exploration, or personal challenges, please look into the comprehensive academic advising at the Academic Advising Office (AAO). The advising network include Academic Advisors, Peer Mentors and Industry Mentors. Through continuous dialogue, these advisors will guide students in choosing courses, participating activities, and developing professional competence.
While facing difficulties in academic writing, the Academic Writing Education Center provides professional courses such as Academic Chinese Writing, English Writing for Academic Purposes for you to become an expert in this aspect.
If you decide to become an NTU undergraduate international students or change your major, you have two channels through which you can apply for a transfer: “International Sophomore Entry” and “NTU Internal Transfer Application.”
Eligibility:
(1) Students who are qualified as international students according to the MOE’s “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.”
(2) International students enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Taiwan, who have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate studies before enrolling at NTU.
Or, students pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a foreign university, who have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate studies before enrolling at NTU.
Notes:
(1) Students who have studied in Taiwan as overseas Chinese students cannot apply for transfer through this channel.
(2) Please check if the department you wish to transfer to is open for transfer applications.
(3) If admitted, students will enter the sophomore year.

Eligibility:
Students pursuing an undergraduate degree at NTU, who have completed at least one academic year of study and apply before the first semester of their final year of study (excluding the period of extended study duration), may apply for a transfer.
Before applying, please check the following information online:
(1) Is the department you wish to transfer to open for transfer applications?
(2) The transfer regulations of the original (transferring out) department.
(3) The transfer regulations of the department you wish to transfer to. (e.g., Does it require a hands-on test?)
