Libraries
The University Library System has 6 major branch libraries, including the Main Library, Social Sciences Library, Law Library, Medical Library, the Gallery of NTU History, and the Taiwan Indigenous Peoples Resource Center. With 2.4 million volumes, NTU’s Main Library is the largest university library in Taiwan. It has a rich multimedia center and a 24-hour study room, providing the perfect place for students to prepare for classes or conduct research.
All libraries are located on the Main Campus, except for the Medical Library which is located on the Downtown Campus. Some departments, such as the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Physics and the Department of Chemistry, also have their branch libraries. Sports Facilities
There are a variety of sports facilities on campus, including a running track, grass field and an outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool. There are also different courts and sports grounds for students to play basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, baseball, softball, handball, etc. NTU students can also borrow sports equipment such as balls and rackets at designated offices. Students may need to register to use certain sports facilities. A popular spot on campus is the NTU Sports Center, which houses indoor badminton courts, table tennis and basketball courts, dance and martial arts rooms, weight rooms and a heated swimming pool among others. All international students are welcome to join the student sports clubs, to practice their favorite sports or try a new sport.

Prayer Room
There are currently two prayer rooms on campus, which students can apply to access. If you would like to register to use the prayer rooms, please fill out the online application form. Once your application has been approved, you will receive a notification via email. You can then swipe your student ID card to enter the rooms.
