Application Timeline
The application process for the Visiting ResearchProgram is conducted entirely online.
You must submit your application at least 3 months before your intended program start date. For example, if you plan to begin the internship on September 30, you must submit your application before June 30.
Application review and result take approximately 8 weeks, and we cannot expedite any part of the process. Plan and submit your application early if you need the result by a certain date.
Application Procedure
Step 1 Email the Letter of Consent signed by your NTU host professor to the program coordinator to obtain an application link.
Step 2 Complete the Online Application and upload required documents. Required documents and instructions are listed below.
Step 3 Email the program coordinator when you have submitted the online application. Contact the program coordinator if you need to make any modifications to the submitted application.
Step 4Application result will be emailed to you, or you can login to the system to check the result. Review period takes 8 weeks. Review cannot be expedited. Plan accordingly.

Maximum length is 2 pages of A4 size.
Content: Provide detailed information about the specific tasks, responsibilities, and objectives of your intended internship/research. Explain how this internship aligns with the requirements of your academic program or graduation.

The transcript should include a comprehensive record of all the courses attempted at your current degree level.

A Letter of Recommendation from Home Institution
The recommender should be someone who is academically acquainted with you and can provide insights into your academic abilities.
Recommender can instead email the letter directly to the program coordinator.

Certificate of Enrollment
Submit a certificate of enrollment issued by your home university within the past two months, indicating your current valid student status.
For internship participants: The certificate must explicitly state that an internship is required for your graduation and include the intended start and end dates of your internship.

Accommodation
Due to the limited housing availability, we cannot guarantee your placement in on-campus housing. If you’d like to apply for on-campus housing, indicate your preferences in the application system. Your housing application result should be available, in the application system or your email, around 2~4 weeks prior to your program start date. You will not receive a notification if there is no housing available.
After the online application deadline, requests for changing room preferences will no longer be accepted.
