Welcome to Taiwan and NTU! You probably can’t wait to jump straight into your research or internship. But before then, make sure you complete the registration steps below to make sure you have access to NTU’s amazing resources.
Username: Your student ID number Preset password: ayyyymmdd (a+your birthday)

Step 2 Complete the personal information on myNTU
Log in to myNTU >> Students >> Personal Information >> Registration of Personal Information and fill in your contact information in Taiwan.
All the fields are mandatory items.
Emergency contacts should have each have a Taiwan contact number.
Step 4 Submit the original hard copy of the completed medical examination form to NTU Health Center (map)
If your program duration is 90 days or more, you need to visit a clinic and ask a doctor to complete the medical examination form.
Alternatively, you can do the medical examination at a Taiwan hospital within 14 days of arrival (list). Do the health exam as soon as possible after arrival as obtaining the report may take some time. An incomplete health exam form will delay your registration.
Please submit the original hard copy of the completed medical examination form to NTU Health Center (map) to get the stamp in the registration sheet before the registration. you may print out the Registration Sheet/De-registration Sheet here
Step 5 Make sure to submit proof of medical and accident insurance:
Please make sure to send the proof of medical and accident insurance to your program coordinator before your registration date.
Sufficient insurance criteria is as following:
1. Accident insurance the minimum coverage must exceed NT$1,000,000 (approximately USD 34,000). 2. Medical insurance minimum coverage must exceed NTD 1,000,000 (approx. USD 34,000).
Registration Procedure
Step 1 Schedule to complete registration with the program coordinator in person within the first week of your program
Make sure to get the stamp from the NTU Health Center (map) by submitting your completed Medical Examination (Form C) if you stay for more than 90 days
Enough cash for program fee payment
You’ll get your NTU student ID card after you’ve completed registration!
